As a result of their experience, performance, and education, our imEdge designers hold different positions, from Associate imEdge Designer to Senior Edge-ucation Director. While prices vary accordingly, every professional is trained to provide the high-quality experiences guests expect from William Edge—and is constantly enhancing their skills through advanced, ongoing education. Regardless of the imEdge designer you choose, you’ll enjoy superior service and industry-leading Aveda products at every level.
What if I’m late for my appointment?
We greatly appreciate your punctuality, as it allows us to better accommodate all of our guests. We understand circumstances may arise that impact your arrival time, and in the event you are running behind, we will do everything we can to hold your appointment. However, in some cases it may be necessary to shorten or reschedule your service. This ensures we are able to provide the strong service you deserve.
How much should I tip?
William Edge is a non-tipping facility. This decision is reflective of the level of professionalism and craftsmanship you can expect from our stylists. Hairstylists are service professionals whose wages (unlike those of waiters and other similar service workers) are not reliant upon tips.
Just as your doctor, tailor, or tennis instructor would not expect a tip for the service they render, we do not ask you to tip on top of the service price you already pay. Instead, the greatest tip you can give us is to purchase the retail regimen we recommend to ensure you look and feel your best between visits. Similarly, the greatest compliment you can give us is to refer a friend or family member.
My favorite service providers are always so busy. How can I be sure they are available when it’s convenient for me?
Many of our service providers are industry leaders and maintain a steady clientele. To better guarantee an appointment with your favorite provider, we recommend that you schedule your next appointment at your preferred date and time before leaving the salon.
Do you have a training salon?
Yes. In addition to our team of imEdge designers, we also have ProdEdgy, a William Edge Salon in New Braunfels. These service providers are fully licensed cosmetologists that are enrolled in our advanced education program. Our new artists are overseen by William Edge educators and receive industry-leading advanced training. ProdEdgy allows you to enjoy the William Edge experience at a new artist price point.
